Getting Started

Do you service my area?

Maid in Texas services the Northwest Quadrant of San Antonio, Boerne, Fair Oaks, Leon Springs, Comfort, Pipe Creek, Bandera, and Bergheim.  If you have a question about whether you are in our service area, please contact our office at 830-815-1900.

What is included in a standard cleaning?

How much will it cost?

Our standard rates are $70/hour (plus tax) for a two-person crew.  The minimum charge is $85.  Rates will vary depending on the type of service, size of area to be cleaned, and other variables.  We don’t want our customers to be surprised paying more than they expected.  Please contact our office at 830-815-1900 for more information.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?

We provide all of the supplies and equipment needed to do the job.  If you have a special product that you would like us to use, please notify our office so that our staff may be properly informed on its use.  For labor-intensive equipment (i.e., steamers, power washers, or Rainbow vacuums) an additional fee may apply.  Please contact our office with any questions.

Can I request special tasks or extras?

You can request special tasks or extras. If you would like to add services to your regular service (i.e., windows, grout cleaning, oven or refrigerator cleaning), please contact our office in advance.  To ensure that your cleaners will have sufficient time, please let us know about any extras ahead of time.  Additional fees will apply.  We strive for customer satisfaction and want to clean your house the way you want it cleaned!

Pricing & Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

In the event that you need to cancel a cleaning, please notify our office more than 24 hours in advance.  This allows us time to move another job into your spot so that our cleaners are not losing precious labor hours.  We regret that cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result in a charge of $50.

What happens if the cleaners are locked out?

When we are scheduled to come but are restricted from entry, then the $50 cancellation fee will be charged, and we will contact you for rescheduling.  This includes gates, alarms, locked homes or offices, owners who have forgotten to notify us they went on vacation, etc.

What is your damage policy?

In the rare event that something gets damaged during the course of the cleaning, please report it to our office within 24 hours so that we can investigate and implement a solution as quickly as possible.

Employee Solicitation Policy

Our clients may not solicit our employees to be contracted for or employed by you or your affiliations for cleaning services of any kind.  If you would like to hire or contract one of our workers to work independently for you or your affiliates, you may do so by informing our office and paying a $3000 referral fee.  Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Pet Policy

Please be sure your pets are crated, on a leash, or otherwise contained when your team arrives.  We are NOT responsible for pets who run out the door, slip through the gate during entry/exit, or otherwise escape the property/grounds/home.

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

A thorough background check is completed on all Maid in Texas cleaners.  We want our customers to have the piece of mind that only qualified and trustworthy cleaners will be in their homes.

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

We do not keep any credit card or checking account information at our office or on our computers.  Our merchant services provider is audited and certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 – the most stringent level of certification available.

Do the cleaning professionals go through a background check?

All Maid in Texas cleaners go through an extensive background check.  We want our customers to have piece of mind that the cleaners in their homes are trustworthy and reliable.  Please contact us with any questions or concerns.

What is your satisfaction guarantee policy?

We want our customers to be completely satisfied with every clean.  If for some reason you are unhappy with the service that you received, please contact us within 24 hours so that we can rectify the problem.

Safety Policy

Our employees’ safety is important.  We require our employees to wear shoes at all times.  Our insurance does not allow them to climb higher than a 3-step ladder or move heavy furniture that is not on rollers.  In addition, we do not clean bodily fluids, pet accidents, etc., due to additional required training and equipment.
